Injoos has come a long way

Hey guys..i know its a long time since i posted something..the development i am seeing on the web products today has drawn me to write this post amidst my busy schedule..

Over the past few months i saw so many websites get a makeover from facebook feeds page to rediff site to ndtv.com to orkut changing the positioning of ads to subtle changes to linkedin..Any reasoning behind this?? not sure..but when the web keeps changing it helps people like me who stay on the web most of the day to feel fresh about the changes..

Top on the web wars has been google search vs bing..Lets wait and watch if microsoft can topple google here..

The sites i mentioned above has seen small changes over the past few months but on top on my list of upcoming web products is Injoos and man i have seen significant change in the product..
I didn't log onto the site for a couple of months and when i wanted to check the site it was flying..literally..the developers have done a great improvement in terms of optimizing the scripts and css i think..and the site looks bright and clean and has a corporatish look to it..but i would like more information in some pages..

Now logging in..i don't see much change to my landing page..its still the same 4 boxes but i see some utilitarian features on the right like quick links to various sections and if you are a moderator there are quick links to take you to the place of action..i think this feature is pretty neat because it has 2 features in it..one it shows if there is any action required and second acts as a quick link..The second tab now called the 'Library' has had a huge makeover and i see a lot of features which makes resource management pretty easy with the flexibilty the features provide but not so intuitive mainly because of the unpolished user interface..needs a bit of finishing to call itself a web 2.0 solution for resource management or to become an immediate competition to box.net...

But overall the product looks good to use...

Some features i would love to see are :
change of landing page when i log in..looks very bland as of now..the landing page should actually trigger action from the user..

I would like the action area to be scaled down a bit may be standard 1024 * 768..now the site looks pretty stretched..

Colourful icons..this adds up to the beauty of the site and adds a coolness factor which is average as of now...

Hope to see sparkling Injoos next time i write a post and also would want a new player to give a hit to both Microsoft and Google..

Injoos-A good product

Hey guys i am going to talk about a web2.0 product which is rich in features and developed using the cutting edge technologies meant for utility right from a school kid to a professional to the retired.

Let me just take through some of the cool features which i liked about Injoos...
You can do everything from sharing news by writing in your own words or posting a link from some other website or blog or even pull it using RSS.
Last 2 features help lazy ppl like me :-)
You want to let people know about an event post it under the events section, what more u can remember birthdays or anniversary's by just posting it here and marking it as recurrence. Now thats an easy way not to forget occasions .
You want to argue about a match or discuss or show off about a new gadget you bought recently or you wanna make fun of a friend or want to discuss something real serious like politics or social problems,go ahead post a discussion and heat up the forum.
You can have any kind of multimedia from documents to pdfs to slides to photos and videos stored and viewed by uploading in the library.
Now that an easy way to share memorable photographs .
You wanna showcase your group on the web do it by configuring a showcase.
My favorite showcase is my own http://cricket.injoos.com
These features are what the college guys and freshers to the industry would be looking for to maintain conact with all their buddies.

Now let me explain about the versatility of utility about Injoos..
The same Injoos can be used by a company to collaborate among the employees of the company in various geographical locations.
Documents can be easily shared using the library or meetings can be organised using the events section.
You forget attending a meeting??Not to worry you can sync the schedule with your outlook or ical calander.
Then you have a discussion about development activities by getting all the developers to fight it out in the discussion forum.
Want to post some interesting news or want to share the quarterly results to the company post it on the news section.

There are more versatile utilities to Injoos.
Will write about it soon.

I love using Injoos.I recommend you to use it as well.

Final verdict :
"Injoos is not about competition but about innovation"
